New England College

Founded in 1946, New England College (NEC) is a four-year, private liberal arts college located in Henniker, New Hampshire. The school was first established to serve the needs of servicewomen and men attending college on the G.I. Bill follow World War II. At the beginning, New England College also purchased the Torrington Park School for girls in Arundel, England, and this location functioned as an extension campus for NEC students seeking abroad studies. However, while NEC even changed its logo to incorporate both countries' flags at one point, the program was later abandoned. Now, approximately 2,017 graduate and undergraduate students pursue doctoral, master's, bachelor's, and associate's degrees from this institution, and the campus is known throughout the region for promoting environmental education initiatives.

New England College Accreditation Details

The NEASC is, in fact, the nation's oldest accrediting association as one of the most respected, and students can take comfort in knowing that both the school's online and on-campus programs meet or exceed the expectations of these accrediting bodies.
