University of Georgia Application Requirements
Over 22,000 undergraduate students apply to the University of Georgia every year. The average incoming student has an SAT score of 1810 to 2060, an ACT of 27 to 31 and a GPA of 3.81 to 4.06. Over 80 percent of students graduate within six years and 33 percent graduate with study abroad experience. There are programs on all seven continents, which includes Oxford and Costa Rica. Prospective students must submit an online application that includes unofficial transcripts and standardized test scores. Students must confirm with their department's academic program coordinator to determine which tests are required for their major. Most programs require three letters of recommendation. Students who want to transfer will only be accepted if they have completed 60 or more credit hours and maintained a GPA of 2.8 or higher. They must also have graduated from high school at least one year before enrollment and have completed at least one year of college.
Tuition and Financial Aid
Online undergraduate students will pay $562 per credit hour, which equates to $8,430 a year for a full-time student. Student technology fees of $591 are required for all nine semesters. The total cost for an online undergraduate student will range from $25,290 to $34,282. Online graduate students will pay $629 per credit hour, which equates to $20,757 per year for 33 credit hours. Online graduate students must pay $597 per semester for student technology fees. The University of Georgia is fully committed to proactively supporting student's academic success through counseling and educating students of their eligibility for financial assistance programs. The Masters of Education in Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) teaches students how to create solutions that address complex HR and organizational development issues within educational organizations and systems. Students will learn how to help organizations expand their capabilities through team development, talent management, customized training, change management, business process analysis and group problem solving. The program, which is officially acknowledged by The Academy of Human Resource Development, is noted for its progressive and innovative curriculum. Students take classes in strategic HR development, leading change in workplaces, diagnosing organizational needs and evaluating and interpreting research.
