They may not have known it was founded by two University of Wisconsin-Madison students in 1988, Tim Keck and Christopher Johnson. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is also known for its MBA program. Their MBA in Strategic Human Resources gives students the leadership skills necessary to be able to lead a business. The MBA curriculum focuses on coursework in compensation, change management, negotiations, employee relations, staffing, and labor relations. Full-time students will take four semesters of courses with the opportunity to include an internship. Ten core courses are required to be taken and include a capstone course and a group of electives that students must choose from. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit official transcripts, a completed essay, and GRE test scores. UWM is ranked No. 35 for Best Full-Time MBA Programs, according to U.S. News & World Report.

Texas A&M University gives students an opportunity to take part in their Midnight Yell pep rally where the lights are turned off for a period of time and students can kiss their date in the dark. The school also gives students the opportunity to get an MS in Human Resource Management which aims to give future professionals the required skills to succeed in the business field. The Mays MSHRM program provides students with a 12-week internship opportunity to gain more hands-on experience in the human resources world. The curriculum includes the completion of 37 credit hours to be taken over 18 months. Students must take classes such as Survey of Marketing, Survey of Accounting Principles, or Introductory Accounting, prior to being enrolled in the program. There are four core skill areas emphasized in the coursework: conceptual, technical, interpersonal, and communication. To be eligible, applicants must submit official transcripts, GRE test scores, three letters of recommendation, two completed essays, and a professional resume. They must also hold a bachelor's degree and complete an interview with the University. TAM's Human Resource Management program was recently ranked No. 6 in the nation and No. 9 globally by Eduniversal.
