Maryville University is a private higher learning institution located in St. Louis County, Missouri. It was founded in 1872, so it is one of the older universities in the state. Maryville University is a nationally ranked university that serves over 6,500 students every year. Students may choose from over 90 undergraduate and graduate degrees. There are six colleges within the Maryville University system. This includes the College of Arts and Sciences, which offers programs in design, math, the humanities and the social sciences. The School of Education offers a Doctor of Education program with a specialization in higher education leadership. All incoming freshmen must have a high school diploma and a transcript that includes at least 22 credits. These include four of English, three of math, two of science, two of social sciences and three additional units in any area. Freshman applicants who fail to meet the basic admissions requirements are considered on a case-by-case basis, but they will be asked to submit additional documentation. Online degree seeking students who have previously attended college will simply be required to submit an online application. Online graduate degree seeking students do not have to submit GRE and GMAT scores.

Tuition and Financial Aid

The tuition at Maryville University depends on the degree program. For example, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting costs $500 per credit, which equates to $64,000 for the total program. The Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security costs $610 per credit, which equates to $78,080 per credit. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program costs $781 per credit.
