In 2013, the CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice had its Level III regional accreditation reaffirmed without sanctions by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education under president Dr. Karol Mason. For another 10 years, this institutional stamp of approval will cover all 35 bachelor's, 16 master's, and two doctoral programs for Federal Title-IV eligibility from the U.S. Department of Education. John Jay's curriculum is registered by the New York State Department of Education.
